GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Customers wanted an affordable grizzly screener to work with their DeSite SLG 78 vibratory screener. They wanted the ability to make more products without having to change out meshes. Well here it is !!!

Introducing the DeSite 78 Grizzly Screener by DeSite. What is different about the DeSite SLG 78 is our spring loaded screen deck that allows the operate to bounce the screen deck to dislodge the rocks that usually get stuck in a standard bar grizzly deck.

Meshes for the 78’s are interchangeable so there is no need to stock duplicate sizes for the different screeners. Mesh options for the DeSite SLG 78 are 2”x 2” , 3”x 3”, and 4”x 4”

Use the DeSite SLG 78 along side the DeSite 78 Pro Screen Vibratory to make four products at one time or use the 78 Grizzly on it own to scalp off oversize materials.

Tilting Screen Deck

The screen deck tilting mechanism on the DeSite SLG 78 Grizzly consists of a two 4” x 12 single stack coil springs that allow the screen deck to pivot using the bucket of the machine feeding the screener. The ability to flatten the screen deck works to control flow as needed. To shed the overs, whether it be oversize stone, sticks or sod the screen deck coil suspension will push the deck back to 45 degrees while the operators goes for another bucketful of material needing to be screened.

SPRING SUSPENSION SYSTEM

The Spring Suspension System in the DeSite SLG 78 is designed to facilitate the action and reaction of the screen deck, allowing it to move in a harmonic motion that efficiently drives material across the screen.

This movement ensures that your screening process is both precise and fast, unlike traditional Grizzly screeners, where rocks or other debris can often become stuck. The Spring Suspension System helps prevent clogging, making your operation smoother and more reliable.

Quick Disconnect Riser Box

The DeSite SLG 78 Riser Box elevates the screener to just under 8ft feed height for use with skidsteers, compact excavators and compact loaders.
The DeSite SLG 78 can be fed with buckets up to 82 inches when on the Riser Box Off the riser the feed height is 6ft and will work well with smaller sub compact equipment. Material storage capacity doubles to 4 cubic yards of both finished product and overs when up on the riser box.
Connecting or disconnecting the riser box takes less than two minutes by removing the 4” nylon straps from the tie down winches
